Merry Christmas friends!!!

This year Andrew and I both agreed we should stay local even though flying home to Boston was what we really wanted to do. Andrew’s family does a traditional ‘Noche Buena’ get together, but this year decided to forego getting together and instead passed around a zoom invite. I have to say, it was actually a pretty great alternative. A huge pro for me was that we all as a group could have a conversation together, rather than dispersed 1:1’s (he has a big family). So considering the circumstances, it wasn’t so bad. I did a nice little Facetime with my family earlier today and I’d rather see them by video than not at all. Always look to the bright-side. This has been the second year Andrew, Vinny and I got to celebrate the three of us and it’s actually really sweet having this little family time. Today was a bluebird day and what better than to go on an adventure with the sun shining bright. We brought Vinny with us of course, and took a drive out to Leadville to see Twin Lakes Reservoir again. We first went out there this summer and it was stunning, but I gotta say, mountains are my favorite with a layer of snow. It was a perfect way to spend our Christmas. We ended the night with a home-cooked meal by yours truly and now we’re lounging with Christmas movies in the background.

I have a lot of catching up to do but I can’t wait to read about everyone’s Christmas celebrations!
