Oh hello, fourth consecutive post this week. I think this is a whole new record for me!
Well, first things first Happy October! September was gone in a blink of an eye, wouldn’t ya say? Anyone else feel like time flies regardless if you’re having fun or in the middle of a pandemic? Just another reason why time is so valuable, use it wisely!
Anywayssss, today I have a sweet little “Day In The Life” post for you and I for one, love these posts. Although I do have a tendency to forget that I actually need to document it throughout the day LOL. I also loveee when bloggers I follow do them too, take me on your errands, I’m so here for it!!!
My days tend to vary but I always find something to do, an errand to run, head to a park or a local adventure… but I do keep to a semi routine because it’s the one thing that keeps me productive and sane. So on Tuesday 9/28/20, here’s what my day looked like…
I’m up anywhere between 7-730AM my internal alarm clock is a morning bird.
But don’t be fooled because I may be up but I’m still cozy in bed while I catch up on my phone.
And then this little pup wakes up and finally I have someone to entertain. Sometimes I purposefully wake him up because he then proceeds to wake up the man that feeds him breakfast. Muahaha. All apart of my plan.
Once we’re all awake, Andrew and Vin have breakfast and go on a nice morning stroll and meanwhile, I’m doing my morning skin care routine and getting ready for the day. And shortly thereafter, I’m out the door headed to my North Star, I mean, Starbucks. The drive-thru line is usually deep but I love this alone time in the morning. I’ll have music or a podcast playing, I’m in my element, and the drive has been so colorful.
Got back home did my morning stretch and a quick yoga session.
After I finished, I treated myself to my coffee again and we’re reunited at last. ~Bliss~
Then I go right into “Quiet Jenny Time”. I throw in my AirPods, get a playlist going on Spotify and it’s me time. I wrote my goals down, did a bit of journaling, and then I jumped on my laptop to check emails and continued the job search.
Andddd then I headed to my favorite kind of appointment- A NAIL APPOINTMENT. Y’all know I love a fresh mani (I do gel).
I went with a nice cocoa brown and I’m IN LOVEEEE!!!! I’m randomly obsessive when it comes to my nails, I love them looking fresh at all times. It’s my little beauty niche. But y’all I do be loving the Earth tones *says the Earth sign*. Now that I was feeling myself again, I was headed back home.
First things first, Vin and mama time. These afternoon walks have been SO nice lately. Warm, with a slight breeze, but you’ll warm right back up under the sun. That is my perfect weather. *Shorts/long sleeve weather*
At last, it was time to do a deep cleaning of the apartment. We’re generally good at keeping the apartment clean but I love doing a deep cleaning at least once a month and it was definitely time for one.
There’s nothing more refreshing and satisfying then a squeaky clean place. I love that feeling, similarly to clean laundry!
Showered and thennn…
I tried out my new tri-pod that I’m obsessed with! I’ve been needing a new one for so long and for no reason at all procrastinated on getting a new one, until I finally did…
I wanted to go test it out immediately and it was SO nice to dress up again! Present Jenny is mad at past Jenny for taking so long to replace it… SMH.
Got home, fed Vin pup, and uploaded photos onto the mac. Thank you airdrop.
Andrew’s finished working by then and we go on our sunset walk with Vin.
Usually I’m cooking dinner by now but I was let off the hook with some good ol’ delivery. Our guilty pleasure is 100% delivery. We got thai but I devoured it the second it landed in front of my doorstep.
We ended the night watching the Presidential Debate. I think the people said it better than I could’ve-
And then we watched some shows and simultaneously I jumped back on my laptop to blog. And by ~11PM we’re in bed and ready for a new day 🙂
